MILLIKEN RANKED AMONG AMERICA'S 100 Favorite Workplaces
Spartanburg, S.C. - Milliken & Company, a diversified manufacturer with materials science expertise in textiles, specialty chemicals, flooring, and healthcare applications, has been named one of America's 100 Favorite Workplaces for the second consecutive year. The list, presented by Newsweek and honoring Milliken as one of five manufacturers, recognizes leading workplaces that build employee-centered cultures as the foundation of corporate success.

"At Milliken, our success starts with our team," said Halsey Cook, President and CEO of Milliken & Company. "When our employees feel valued and respected, when they are empowered to grow, and when we work together to build a better future, we create a meaningful impact for generations to come."

This latest honor comes on the heels of being recognized as one of Newsweek's 100 Favorite Global Workplaces. The fact that nearly half of Milliken's global workforce of 8,000 employees is based in the US underscores the importance of this award. The list was compiled from a survey of more than 2 million employees from businesses ranging in size from 50 to 100,000. Key areas covered in the analysis were how well companies demonstrated the Spark Model defined by BPI: Systemic Collaboration, Positive Future Vision, Value Alignment, Respect, and Killer Success. To determine the 100 Favorite Workplaces, we analyzed employee sentiment, reflecting how engaged employees are, how positive they feel about their workplace, and how committed they are to the organization's success.

"With a rapidly changing workplace and competition for top talent, more companies are recognizing the importance of employee engagement and retention," said Nancy Cooper, global editor-in-chief of Newsweek. "By 2023, workplaces that demonstrate engagement with their employees are more likely to attract top talent and deliver strong business results."
